This guide is meamt for people who want to create their own paint schemes for my locomotives/rolling stock. I will describe what you need to make your own schemes as well as _+_+__

What you probably need:
Blender, so that you can view your changes in real time.
GiMP, paint.net, or any other picture-editing program

The texture templates can be found under the "TEX_TEMPLATES" folder. So far these only include tempates for my Mogul (as of Feb. 2020) but as more stock is added you will find more content in here.

-easily paintable parts are denoted by some kind of border around the area of the sheet that corrosponds to that part.
These markings are pretty irregular, but usually consist of circled areas or dashes.
Circled areas denote "fill-in areas", areas where you simply fill it in with your paint of choice to colorize the corrosponding part.
Dashed areas denote "logo areas". Number boards and the cab sides are usually found with "logo areas." Here, you can add numbering, text, logos, etc.

Transparent Parts
Some parts, such as headlights, can be configured to dissapear with different paint schemes. Currently, the system I use works so that these parts use discrete texture sheets for each part.
For example, in my mogul I have a seperate file associated to each of the 3 configurable headlights. Normally, only one of them would actually be bound to the "real" texture sheet while the other two sheets would be
disappear because their "real" textures have been subsituted for transparent texture sheets. So, if you wanted to change the headlight layout you simply have to switch around the blank and "real" files and ensure they are properly named.
Or you could do it with more than one I guess, though I can guarantee you'll get some strange looks.

I'm including a template "blank" sheet in the template folder so that you don't need to make your own blank sheets for different headlight styles.
